I’ve admitted in prior blog posts that I used to watch Days Of Our Lives religiously. I still peek in on it occasionally, but the 2009 firing of longtime star Deidre Hall really bothered me. Deidre is simply the coolest. What other actress can trump the evil Stefano DiMera, ward off possession by Satan, come back from the dead multiple times, put a teenage Shannon Doherty in her place, and kick some superhero ass on ’70s Saturday morning television?
Electra Woman And Dyna Girl only lasted one season on ABC in 1976-77, but it has become a cult classic over the years. It also has one rockin’ theme song!
Deidre is back for occasional appearances on Days now, and once again all is right in the world!

The first rule of The Analog Kid blog is that if you write about a song on the Analog Kid blog, you share the song on the Analog Kid blog.
I have no idea where or why this happened. All I know is that I would have given anything to be there!
Wasn’t Debra Winger also Dyna Girl for a season or something.. ??? Oh also why aren’t you returning my calls you bastard. ?
kisses
Don’t know about Dyna Girl but Debra Winger was on Wonder Woman – I just binged all three seasons! Linda Carter is a goddess!!! Great theme song, too.
The Cyndi Lauper clip was from a celebration of Sid & Marty Krofft on the TV Land Awards. http://krofft.net/2009/04/the-tvland-krofft-tribute/
Knew it had to be something like that. I’m so glad I was around to watch those!
